I am changing to a 250.
Thus I need to sell my boat.
There is no way I am going to be without a boat for a long period of time, so really need to understand whether there would be any interest and the ability to move quickly for my boat.
Its a very well maintained 215AS.
I have shed loads of documented posts on this forum showing what I have done over the years.
It is meticulously maintained and is serviced every 120-150 hours.
I would like to think that I have taken care of everything that is required.
Eberspacher Heater (Twin vents, floor and screen)
Radar,
Upgraded Plotter (GPSMaps4008)
Raw water alarm.
Gearbox Oil temp gague
Bow controlled windlass operation switch
LED Lighting
Wash down pump
12v sockets dotted around the boat
Extra sacrificial anodes to protect the prop.
VW Remapped ECU
Clements supplied and balanced prop
Stereo with deck speakers
Extra engine water gague
Windscreen washer
Fresh water engine flush
2 x Optima batteries (1 x Red Top and 1 x Yellow Top)
Name it, and I would like to think I have done it... In the time I have owned it, it has never been used and not washed down afterwards, A stainless rod holder across roof, recirculating baitwell pump... I am certain there are bits I have missed, such is the lengths I have gone to to ensure not only is everything maintained, but its as comfortable as possible (Heater etc) It is NEVER left with sea water in the engine, I installed a freshwater flush so after every trip its flushed through.
I even have a 12v socket near the fuel filler and a 12v plug fitted pump for easy transfer of diesel so you dont have to lift a drum up :-)
Now, I know there are quite a few 215's out there ranging from 20k to 23k asking price..
I would be looking for as much as I can get (Obviously), but if I were to ask 23k would there be any interest here?
I WILL NOT be wasting anyones time, and it is for sale... But its also dependent upon me finding and securing the boat I am after.. Thus, if there is serious interest, we can do the sea trials, do the inspections and I know then I can move on the one I want.
Anodes are changed regularly, and its antifouled with what is suggested as the best antifoul available (Micron 77)..
I suspect anyone who has used these forums regularly knows what I am like regards my boat, and I would cordially invite anyone interested to maybe drop me an email.
In an ideal world I would be looking to complete within the month (Providing the boat I am after can be secured as mine)
In an ideal world I guess all 250 sellers would want to accept a 215 in PX. :-)
Cheers
Dave
